Who? - are being 'economical with the truth' again? From the BBC website: "More than 20 people are under death threats following the murder of
Kevin McDaid in Coleraine last May, the High Court has heard....... A prosecution lawyer said half of the 20 people are witnesses, while
the rest include men who are suspected of involvement in the attack."
Sort out the sums first. "More than 20 people are under death threats" and "half of the 20 people are witnesses". They're dodgy figures as usual, but this means that more than 10 non-witnesses are under a death threat. Non-witnesses could be better described as innocent Protestants. The Somerset Drive Drug-Dealing Collective are threatening to kill more than 10 Protestants in Coleraine. Why aren't they locked up?
Add the fact that I have seen no post-mortem evidence to convince me that the Kevin McDaid wasn't just a heart-attack waiting to happen but the NI news services still report it as a 'mob-murder'. That's a ridiculous assertion. He had a dodgy heart due to years of self-indulgence, he got a kicking (he'd given out a few) and that's that.
Live by the sword .....
Who? - are the PSNI reporting to? SDLP MLA John Dallat said he had been told by police that the home of
the catholic community worker was one of two in the Heights area of
Coleraine that was targeted in the early hours of Tuesday. (Source UTV)
This raises a number of questions:
Do the PSNI systematically report all details of on-going investigations to John Dallat? If so, why?
Is John Dallat deliberately mis-representing the situation? Did he approach the police and had what he already been told confirmed? If this is the case he is, once again, being economical with the truth to try to prove that he is out-shinning the murdering Shinners.
Are reporters being lazy and taking the easy way out, reporting what politicians are telling them? If this is the case, why are attacks on Protestants not making the news? Protestants in Coleraine are being subjected to attack on a daily basis. Are Unionists politicians being ignored, not interested in the subject or keeping quiet to help keep the 'peace ship' steady?
Why do the media tend to report attacks on Protestants as 'attacks', yet report attacks on Roman Catholics as 'sectarian attacks'? Who? - doesn't like being filmed?
If it's illegal to film incidents of public interest, maybe the PSNI should start prosecuting BBC, ITN and other film-makers from around the world. They show peelers' faces on a daily basis. Who? - isn't happy with the band?
Who? - tells lies about the size of Barbre de Bruin's tits?
"You're a lying bastard, Gerry. The left one is bigger than the right one", says Martin.
"I
should know, fuck you", says Gerry, "I was humping that Bernadette
Devlin at the same time as you were. Is that slag still alive?"
"By
the way" says Gerry, "I've been an unemployed barman all my life. No
cunt would take a pint off me. I have been actively seeking employment
for years. I never asked anything from Britain except for my dole. Who? - said that Elvis was dead?
